Last year I joined an amazing tribe of women. It's called the The MOB Nation, which is short for mommy owned businesses. Within the last year the group has expanded so much with so many amazing women and businesses. The support is overwhelming for each other and it helps immensely when running a business and a family.
The group was created by an amazing woman and mother, Aria Leighty. She is truly an inspiration for each and every one of us. She always goes way above and beyond for anyone of us. She is constantly lifting us up and finding more opportunities to help our businesses succeed. All of us owe so much to her and all of her unrivaled support. So when she decided to bring back Art ala Carte to the community but needs financial assistance, we jumped on board.
There were so many amazing vendors there donating a portion of their proceeds to Art ala Carte. There was also great raffle prizes donated by fellow MOBS and a super silent auction. I personally left a silent auction winner of two art pieces by Eva Kelley Creative and a new sign for my laundry room by Freckled and Free.
Bar Nomad was onsite serving up delicious and creative drinks created just for the event. Did you know they are a mobile bar and will come to your event. Yes please!
The event was of course family friendly. There was an art bar setup outside provided by Art ala Carte and Emmy Blue and Squatchie came out to say hi to the kids. It was a really fun and inspirational night.
If you're interested in helping Art ala Carte's return please donate to their kick starter.
We raised $2,016!!!
Way to go ladies!!!
