The MOB is a group of women who are entrepreneurs and mothers. Neither job of which are easy or are for the faint of heart. 

Back in the end of 2015 I joined the Mommy Owned Businesses alliance group or also known as The MOB. This group has been amazing for connecting on levels of business owners and mothers. We know each other's obstacles and strengths. It has been a group for community over competition and I'm so thankful I found my tribe. It's insanely kid friendly too, which can make such a difference in actually being able to make it to events like this. We help entertain each others children and sometimes steal snuggle time with the wee little ones. I know that's some of my favorite parts. 

Since 2015 the MOB has grown substantially. There are new chapters popping up not only all over the NW, but it other states and even Hawaii. I'm very fortunate to be the photographer for the Portland Westside chapter that takes place at Arcadia Floors in Tigard Oregon. The venue is gorgeous and the owner Danielle is an amazing human being. You should check it out. Here are some photos of all the amazing connections happening in our community because of the MOB.

We even at the amazing company Slumberkins come a speak to the group. They brought in product samples and even took pictures with a few kids. They did an amazing job. Did you know they are the ones that appeared on Shark Tank!?

If you're a Mom and a business owner come check us out. There is a meetup about once a week in various places around the city. It took me forever to finally attend one, but once I did, it's my place, it's my tribe. They've all become friends and my community and I don't know what I would do without them.
